which is to be raised, thereby superseding the use of Pumps, and greatly reducing the expense of
conveying Avater from a distance.
Upwards of 300 of them have been erected in England, Scotland, and Ireland, a sufficient
proof of their superiority over every other invention of the kind. Tliose which they have fitted
up have given the greatest satisfaction, and they have been permitted to refer to the parties for
whom they have been erected.
Parties desirous of seeing the Machine in operation, will have an opportunity afforded them

where they will receive every information regarding them.
