ASSURANCES are eiFected by this Society, to the extent of L.5000, upon the same sole
or joint or surviving Life or Lives, and are not confined to the profession of the Law, but
are open to persons in every station of Life.
Fo OR- Fifths of the Profits made by this Society will be appropriated to the persons assured
for the whole term of Life.
On the Z\st day of December 1847, and at the end of every Seven Years from that period,
the profits divisible amongst the Assured, will be apportioned amongst such of the Assured for
the whole term of life, as shall have been so assured for the space of three years or upwards
previously to those periods respectively, subject only to the reservation of such a sum of money
as the Directors shall deem necessary to be carried forward to the period of the next septen-
nial division, for the benefit of the Assured. For the amounts which shall be so apportioned,
equivalent reversionary sums will be added to the Policies respectively of those entitled.
The subjoined is a Specimen Table of Bonuses, in even pounds, added to Policies of
L.IOOO each, which have been in force seventsen years, ending 31st December 1840, including
the Bonuses added on the former division.
