Boundaries of Wards into which the City is Divided.
St. Clement's Ward.
Commencing at a point in the centre of Union street in line with
the centre of Market street, proceeding southward along the centre of
Market street to 'the boundary of the city, thence eastward and northward
along the boundary of the city to a point in line Avith a continuation of the
centre line of Cotton street, thence southwestward along such continued
line to Cotton street, thence along the centre of Cotton street and Castle
terrace to a point in Castle street in line with the centre of Union street,
thence westward along Castle street and Union street to the point of
commencement.
St. Andrew's Ward.
Commencing in Castle street at a point opposite the centre line of Union
street and King street, proceeding northward along the centre of King street
and King street road to the boundary of the city, where it crosses the last-
mentioned road, thence northeastward, southward, eastward and southward
along the boundary of the city to a point in line with a continuation of the
centre line of Cotton street, thence southwestward along such continued
line to Cotton street, thence along the centre of Cotton street and Castle
terrace to a point in Castle street in line with the centre of Union street,
thence along Castle street to the point of commencement.
St. Machar Ward.
Commencing at a point in the centre of King street in line with the
centre of Nelson street, proceeding northward along the centre of King
street and King street road to the boundary of the city, where it crosses
the last-mentioned road, thence westward, northward, and westward along
the said boundary of the city, till it crosses the Tanfield road at Kitty-
brewster, thence southward along the centre of the Tanfield road, the
Inverurie road, North Broadford and George street to Gerrard street,
thence eastward along the centre of Gerrard street to Gallowgate, thence
northward along the centre of Gallowgate and eastward along the centre of
Nelson street to the point of commencement.
Greyfriars' Ward.
Commencing at a point in the centre of Union street in line with the
centre of Market street, proceeding thence northward along the centre of
St. Nicholas street and George street to Gerrard street, thence eastward
along the centre of Gerrard street to Gallowgate, thence northward along
