Branches taught— English Reading, English Grammar, Geography, History,
Composition, History of English Literature, &c.
Fee — 7s 6d per quarter.
Arithmetic, Book-keeping, Physical Geography, and Mathematics.
Fee— For one hour daily, 5s ; for two hours, 7s 6d ; for threa or more hours
10s 6d per quarter.
Writing and Drawing.
Fee— For Writing, Including materials, 6s 6d ; Drawing, 10s 6d per quarter.

SCHOOL FOR BOYS.
Master— Mr. James Milne.
Branches Taught — English Reading, Grammar, Geography, History,
Writing, Dictation, Arithmetic, Mathematics, Geometry, Music and
Drawing. Fees— Three halfpence and Two pence per week. Reading
hooks, pens, ink, and paper furnished to pupils gratis. Evening classes
are opened in September for Writing, Arithmetic, and Mathematics.
SCHOOL FOR GIRLS.
Teacher — Mrs Lewins.
Branches Taught— Same as in Boys' School, with the addition of plain
Needlework and Knitting. Fees— Three halfpence and Two pence per
week. Everything furnished to pupils gratis.
Dr. Bell's Schools, as will be seen from the Moderate charges, are intend-
ed chiefly for the children of the labouring classes. There is accommoda-
tion for 400 boys and 200 girls. The school-rooms are commodious and well
aired.
