Second Septennial Division of Profits among the Assured.
The Bonus added to Policies from March, 1834, to the 31st December, is
as follows : —

* Example At the commencement of the year 1841, a person took out a Policy
for .£1000, the Annual Payment for which is £24 Is. Sd. -, in 1847 he had paid in Pre-
miums £ 1 68 1 Is. 8rf. : but the profits being 2J per cent, per annum on the sum insured
(which is £22 10s. per annum for each £1000), he had £157 10s. added to the Policy,
almost as much as the Premiums paid.
Premiums may be paid Quarterly, Half-yearly, or Annually, as may best
suit the convenience of the Assured.
When an Insurance is for Life, half the Annual Premium may remain un-
paid for five years at interest, to be deducted eventually from the Policy, or be
paid off at convenience.
Parties desirous to participate in the next Division of Profits, should make
immediate application to the undersigned, from whom, Tables of Premiums,
Forms of Proposals, and every information may be obtained.
