The Fifteenth Annual Meeting of this Corporation was held
within their House in Aberdeen, on Friday, the 13th
June, 1851 —
JOHN CRUICKSHANK, Esq., LL.D., Professor of
Mathematics in Marischal College and University,
(Chairman of the Company), in the Chair —
The Common Seal of the Company having been affixed, in terms
of the Statute, to "the Registry of Shareholders," the Manager
read the Report of the Directors, which commenced by stating that,
on the present occasion, besides their usual Report on the Com-
pany's transactions for the year, they had to submit to their Con-
stituents the result of the Second Investigation into the state of the
Life business, appointed by the Act of Incorporation to be made at
the Balance of the Books, on 30th April last.
