POLICIES WITHOUT PROFIT.
To insure fixed sums, the Company have adopted a scale of rates which will be
found highly' advantageous in those transactions where the object is the security of a
definite amount. Specimens of the Tables will be found subjoined.
The business transacted by the Company may be classed under the following heads :-
The granting of Assurances on single and joint lives and survivorships, and for
limited periods,
Tlie granting of Assurances payable at death, or on the party attaining a given age.
Tlie granting of Endowments to Children, and of Present, Deferred, and Survivor-
ship Annuities.
The Lending Monet on Redeemable Annuity over Entailed Estates ; and on
Heritable and Personal Security, coupled with Life Assurance.
The Purchase of Life-Rent and Reversionary Interests.
And, in general, the transaction of every specks of business involving the contingency
of human life.
Forms of Proposal, and every additional information, will be given on application
at the Agencies of the Company in Great Britain and Ireland.

Premiums may be made payable half-yearly or quarterly, to suit the convenience
° Insurances are effected upon the lives of Naval and Military Men, or upon those
of other parties intending to reside abroad, at premiums proportioned to the
extra risk.
FIRE INSURANCE
at the Reduced Premiums of Is. 6d. and upwards. Extra risks insured at moderate
rates. Policies with other Offices may be transferred free ot expense.
