Enrolled pursuant to Act of Parliament, 18th and 19th Victoria,
for England, Scotland, and Ireland.
ESTABLISHED, CTTXILi^r, 1850.

ADVANTA G E S .
1. — Members entered from one day to eighty years of age.
2 Members are entitled to half-benefit in twenty-six weeks, and full
benefit in fifty-two weeks.
3. — A person under thirty-five years of age, paying one penny per week,
would be entitled to £6 at death for the first year, and 10s. additional each
year until the sum amounts to £10.
4. — This Society being enrolled by Act of Parliament, guarantees a per-
fect security against non-payment, or any fraudulent dissolution or mis-
application of the funds.
5. — The length of time existing being upwards of ten years, and in that
space of time paid 12,814 deaths, amounting to the sum of £44,367 17s. 8d.
6 The small weekly contributions paid, and the great benefits given.
7. — Children entering under ten years of age, receive £6 for one penny
per week, after arriving at the age of ten years.
8. — This Soeiety has 250 districts throughout Che United Kingdom.
The number of districts will show at one glance, that the income being
£1 000 per week, is quite sufficient, at all times, to meet the liabilities ; for
when any epidemic may occur, it will not be in all the places at one and the
same time ; consequently, the income from all districts will meet the ex-
penses of the district so afflicted, which cannot be done in a local society.
