All vessels employed in the river Tay carry-
^ing goods, and entering the precincts of
the port or harbour of Dundee, per ditto, Ih,
But where vessels are not registered at the port of Dun-
dee, it shall be in the option i)f the Commissioners to
eharge either the tonnage-dues on the voyage inwards or
on the voyage outwards, at the rates specified in the above
schedule, according to the distance; and if the charge be
made on the outward voyage, there shallbe deducted from
it the amount of the dues that may have been previously
paid on the voyage inwards. But if such vessels sail in
ballast, they shall be charged with dues on the inward
voyage only.
AH British vessels not registered at the port of Dundee
to pay one half more than the dues in the above scheduTe.
Vessels, although registered at the port of Dundee, if
navigated by masters iwho are not burgesses of Dundee,
to pay one half more than the dues in the above schedule ;
but if the masters be domiciled in the borough of Dun-
dee and be free by service, in his Majesty's navy or army,
the vessels to pay the same dues as if navigated by bur-
gesses of Dundee.
All, foreign vessels to pay double the above diies.
All vessels navigated by foreign masters to pay double
the above dues.
