The great success which has hitherto
attended Co-operation, both among
the artizans of our large manufac-'
turing districts and the members of
H.M. Civil Service, has induced the
Directors of this Association to offer
to the General Public those advan-
tages which have until lately been
enjoyed only by a privileged few.
The Association is thus formed for
the purpose of reducing the Household
Expenses of its Members, by supplying
them with all Articles of domestic con-
sumption at the lowest possible ready-
money Prices, thereby enabling them
to save from 20 to 25 per cent, as well
as bringing articles of luxury within
the reach of those who could not other-
wise enjoy them.
