MAILS FOB THE ISLE OF MAN AND THE CHANNEL ISLANDS.
Mails to and from the Isle of Man are conveyed by Steamers between Liverpool and Douglas daily
(Sundays excepted). There is also a communication weekly between Liverpool and Ramsay. There is a
daily communication (Sunday excepted) -with Jersey and Guernsey. Alderney and Sark are served from
Guernsey, and letters, &c, are forwarded to them three times a week from May to October, and, on an
average, five times in a fortnight from November to April.
The Scilly Islands Mails are conveyed by steamer to and from Penzance twice a week — viz., from Pen-
zance to Scilly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, soon after the arrival of the Night Mail from London; and
from Scilly to Penzance on Mondays aud Thursdays in connection with the Night Mail to London.
