THIS Society is one of the very few purely Mutual Insurance Offices, the whole of the profits M
divided quinquennialiy among the Policy-holders, and possesses large reserves, applicabl'
future Bonuses.
The rates are considerably below those usually charged. Thus, at the age of 40 the sunn
£33, 19s. 2d. which, at the ordinary Premium, will insure £1000, with the Norwich Union will iu!
.£1095, 8s., giving an immediate Bonus in addition to subsequent accumulations. Annuities,
special risks undertaken on favourable terms.
No Entry Money, nor charge for Policies.
FIRE SOCIETY.
Established 1821, CAPITAL, £550,000.
The Business of the Company exceeds £70,000,000,
The duty paid to Government for the year 1862 was £83,972, and the amount insured on farm
stock, £10,086,332.
A Bonus of three-ffths of the profits periodically made to parties insuring^ who have t
frovi time to time received sums amounting in the aggregate to £400,000.
The rates of premium are in no case higher than those charged by the other principal off
making no returns to their insurers.
Policies transferred from other OfiSces free of expense. ||
