XX ADVERTISEMENTS.
IHOSE who wish COFFEE in its NATIVE PURITY should
never buy Coffee in Packages, as the expense of the Canis-
ters must deteriorate the quality of the Coffee, For example, take
a pound of Canister Coffee at Is. 4d. Out of this Is. 4d., the
Agent gets 4d. per pound for selling it ; the Canister costs 3d. ;
and allowing the Merchant who sends it from London, Edinburgh,
or elsewhere, only Id. per pound for his profit, there is only 8d. left
for Coffee, at which ^price NO SOUND Coffee can be bought and
roasted.
We roast and grind all our Coffee on the most approved prin-
ciples, and invite comparision of the following with those sold at
much higher prices in Canisters : —
Fine Sound Ceylon, is. Od. per lb., or 3d. per ^Ib.
Fine Jamaica, is. 4d. do. 4d. do.
Fine Old Mocha, Is. 8d. do. 5d. do.

The present large and increasing Stock of Tea, together with
the continued depressed state of the market, enables us to sell
Teas such as, we believe (quality considered), were never before
offered at the following prices : —
Good Strong Sound Congou, 3s. 4d. per lb. or 5d. per 2 oz.
Fine Brisk Do., 3s. 8d. do. 5|d. do.
Fine Souchong (recommended), 4s. Od. do. 6d. do.
Finest Pekoe Souchong, 4s. 4d. do. G^d. do.
Assam Pekoe Souchong, 4s. 8d. do. 7d. do.
We respectfully solicit a trial of this delicious and most econo-
mical Tea, satisfied that it requires only to be known to prove its
superiority to all other Teas.
