THE Security afforded by this Long Established Society is unques-
tionable, its Rates of Premium exceedingly moderate, and its
regulations liberal.
The Policies of this Society cover Losses arising from Lightning
and Explosions of Gas.
This Office is distinguished for its Liberality and Promptness in the
Settlement of Claims. 34,810 Claims have been Paid to Insurers for
Losses by Fire, amounting to £2,698,416.
The Rates of this Society are the same as other offices, whilst
periodical returns have been made to the parties Insured, amounting to
£422,680.
In proof of the public confidence in the Principles and Conduct of
this Establishment it will suffice to state that the Total Amount Insured
now exceeds £91,000,000.
A Pohcy for £100 on Furniture, including Wearing Apparel, China,
Glass, Musical Instruments, and Pictures, in a Private Dwelling-House
built of Brick or Stone and Tiled or Slated, can now be effected for the
small cost of One Shilling and Sixpence.

Third Class, from 5s. Od.
Farming Stock, 5s. per Cent.
Amount Insured on Farming Stock — £11,200,000;
