PROTECT YOUR LIVES AND HOMES!
DANGER
IN USING
Kitchen $^ Heating Boilers.
EXPLOSIONS ARE AVOIDABLE
BY USING
THE TURNBULL SAFETY VALVE.
EASILY FITTED TO BOILERS OR TANKS IN USE.
GOVERNMENT WARNING.
The Board of Trade have just issued a circular letter to Water Supplying Companies, and
to all Local Authorities throughout the country, directing their attention to the adoption of
measures for the pre-ventioii of Kitchen and Heating Boiler Explosions, etc. Engineering,
in commenting on ibe action of the Board of Trade as being a step in the right direction, most
strongly recommends the application of a small reliable Safety Valve to every domestic boiler.
These Safety Valves have already been supplied to many mansions, houses, public
buildings, and institutions throughout the country, including the Vice-Regal Lodge, Chief
Secretary's Lodge, Under Secretary's Lodge, Police Courts, Four Courts, Dublin, etc., the
order being for
36 Safety Valves for the Government Buildings.
IMPORTANT CAUTION.— TurnbuU's Safety Valves are acknowledged to
be the most simple and the most efficient Safety Valves known. But for the sake
of a small extra profit worthless imitations are sometimes recommended by
unscrupulous vendors. Besides the trouble, expense, annoj'ance, and fancied
security which follow the adoption of such imitations, there is absolutely increased
danger. Householders, therefore, cannot be too careful in making bure that the
Safety Valve adopted can be relied upon, and not a dangerous and worthless sham.
