Greenock and Ayrshire Railway opened 1869.
Theatre Royal opened December, 1858.
Victoria Harbour opened on 18th October, 1850.
Foundation Stone of Sir Gabriel Wood's Mariners' Asylum laid on the
17th October, 1850.
Flood at Cartsdyke, 21st November, 1835.
Foundation Stone of Albert Harbour laid on 7th August, 1862.
James Watt born 19th January, 1736. Died 25th August, 1819.
Sacramental Fast Days — Thui-sday before first Sunday of M^rch, and
