DISTRIBUTION OF PROFITS.
Nine-tenths, or Ninety per cent., of the Profits are divided every Seven Years among
the Participating Pohcy-holders.
Policies of Five Years' duration becoming Claims between one Division of Profits
and another, are entitled to an Intermediate Bonus.
The principle according to wliich the Company divides its Profits bestows upon each
Policy a Share corresponding to the proportion of the whole Profits which it has contri-
buted. No class of Policy-holders has any unfair advantage over another. Young Policies
as well as old receive the Share to which they are entitled.
Five Periodical Investigations have already been made, and the results of the equit-
able principle of Distribution are shown in the large Bonuses which have accrued to those
who have attained an advanced age, or whose Policies have existed for a long period, and
who are therefore entitled to a large proportion of the Profits.
