FINEST SODA & MAGNESIA WATERS.
XT C. BAILDON, Successor to, and
-"--*-• for six years Manager for T. Butler and
Co. Chemists, 73, Prince Street, Edinburgh, begs
to inform the numerous Friends of the Establish-
ment and the Public, that he has now brought the
manufacture of SODA and MAGNESIA WATERS
to the highest state of perfection, by means of a most
powerful machine, which, icith a very important im-
provement just added, enables him to compress a
much larger quantity of fixed air into these \\''ater8
than was previously practicable. This improved ap-
paratus he will with great pleasure shew to any gen-
tleman. And in order that the drinkers of these be-
verages may obtain them in the greatest perfection,
H. C. B. has just erected a fountain, by which he is
enabled to produce a very great degree of cold in the
hottest summer months, upon the principle — that of
evaporation — ^practised in the tropical climates.
This mode is quite effectual in reducing the tem-
perature of Soda and Magnesia Waters, the extrao-
rdinary efficac}' of which in allaying thirst, and cor-
recting acidity, is now universally acknowledged ; and
the rapidly increasing demand for them since the
reduction in price, makes it important that they
should be supplied of the very best quality. Quan-
tities of one dozen bottles and upwards, carefiUly
packed, are sent to any part of the countrj-.
