L— INSURANCE COMPANIES.
ABERDEEN
FIRE AND LIFE ASSURANCE, ANNUITY, AND
REVERSIONARY COMPANY.
INSTITUTED, 1826.
CAPITAL—ONE MILLION.
The Right Hon. Lord Forbes, Governor.
Alexander Webster, Esq. Chairman.
THIS Company combines every system of Insurance now in
use throughout the kingdom.
The Non- Participation Rates are much below those of other offices,
and are intended for parties who prefer an immediate saving to prospec-
tive advantages. To those desirous of securing fixed sums upon mar-
riage settlements, in payment of Loans and the like, the reduced Pre-
miums will be found highly advantageous.
The Profits of the Participation Branch are divisible among the As-
sured of that class, who are relieved from all responsibility by the large
subscribed capital, and by a numerous and wealthy body of proprietors.
The Company is thus enabled to divide among the Policy-holders those
accumulations which, in a great measure, are retained by Mutual As-
surance Offices, to form a guarantee fund; while, in addition to the
periodical distribution of profits, the Assured, at the very commence-
ment, realize a considerable Bonus by the great saving upon their
Annual Premiums.
The attention of the Public is also respectfully requested to the fol-
lowing Table, showing the Premuims required to insure £100 at the
undernoted ages, and which should be compared with those taken by
other Offices.
