TIONDS are granted whereby the Company undertakes to make good loss by reason of the
_D fraud or dishonesty of persons receiving or holding money, or securities for money, or
intrusted with property of any kind (such as Receivers in Chancery or Bankruptcy, Managers,
Secretaries, Collectors, Clerks, and Travellers).
The guarantees of Companies are now universally accepted in preference to private security.
They have for some years been tested by Her Majesty's Government, the largest Railways, and
other Public Bodies, and found to be immeasurably superior in every way to those of private
sureties. A Company's guarantee relieves the employed from the necessity of placing himself
under any obligation to his friends, and can be obtained, as a matter of course, by any one having
a good character, while it gives to the employer absolute security and the greatest facility for
recovering any loss he may incur.
The Premiums vary according to the nature of the situation and the duties to be performed.
Length of service, position, and means are all matters taken into consideration in affixing the
Premium to be paid.
GOVERNMENT BONDS.
Bonds of this Company are granted to and accepted by the various departments of Her Majesty's
Government at Home and in the Colonies, and by the Law Courts in England and Ireland, for
Receivers, Liquidators, and as Security for Costs.
