THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS AND
SHIPBUILDERS IN SCOTLAND (INCOR-
PORATED).
Established to facilitate the exchange of informa-
tion and ideas amongst its members, to place on
record the results of experience elicited in discussion,
and to promote the advancement of science and prac-
tice in Engineering and Shipbuilding. The General
Meetings of the Institution take place monthly from
October to April inclusive, in the Hall of the Insti-
tution, 207 Bath Street. Monthly meetings of
the Graduate Section are also held during the session.
The Transactions of the Institution are published
monthly during the session, and in volume form at
close of session. The' library of the institution con-
tains engineering and scientific works, and the Tran-
sactions of various societies.

Hours for admission of Patients. — In-door patients,
with lines, from 12 till 1 o'clock, and from 4 till 5
o'clock, daily (Sunday excepted). Cases of accident
admitted at any hour. Dispensary open daily (Sun-
day excepted) at 2 o'clock. Diseases of women on
Tuesdays and Fridays at 3 p.m. ; diseases of the ear
on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3.30 p.m.; diseases
of the teeth on Mondays and Thursdays at 4.30 p.m.;
diseases of throat on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Vac-
cination performed gratuitously at the Dispensary on
Mondays at 1 p.m.
Friends admitted to see patients on Tuesdays and
Fridays from 11 till 12 a.m., and on Sundays and
Fast Days from 10 till 11 a.m.
