SECURITY COMBINED WITH OTHER ADVANTAGES.
The Sum Assured novir exceeds £5,464,233.
The Annual Income is upwards of £224,683.
',^- The Funds Invested amount to £1,656,932.
The Total Bonuses added to Policies amount to £1,058,129.
The perfect Security to the Assured is proved by the fact, that at the last valuation of
le Company's affairs, on 25th March, 1880, after distributing a cash profit of £123,613, and
sserving for future profits and expenses the value of the full "Loading" on the Premiums, the
ompany had nearly £125 of cash in hand for each £100 of the value of its liability to the
ssured, a security that is equalled by few Offices.
The Sums Paid to the Representatives of deceased Members exceed £3,468,000 ; and the
'ompany has not in a single instance been engaged in litigation with respect to the payment of the
aims.
The Profits are divided qidnquennially — Five-Sixths, or 83J per cent., being allotted to the
.ssured, and the remaining One-Sixth added to the Guarantee Fund, and permanently reserved
3 a Security to the Assured. The next Division of Profits takes place at 25f7t March, 1885.
Free Paid-up Policies are granted at any time to the Assured who find it necessary or
asirable to cease paying the ordinary premium. The suras will, in most cases, considerably
tceed the premiums paid.
