GLASGOW AGEICULTURAL SOCIETY.
The annual show of stallions takes place in the
Cattle Market on the last Tuesday in February, and
the annual summer show takes place on the Glasgow
Green, Glasgow, in first week of May; entries closing a
fortnight previous to each show. Terms of member-
ship: ordinary — entry money, 10s.; annual subscrip-
tion, 5s.; life — tenant farmers, £3; all others, £5.
The annual general meeting of the members takes
place in December.

promotion of the Fine Arts. A subscription of one
Guinea constitutes membeisliip for one year, for
which subscribers are entitled to receive the Society's
Annual Engraving, or other work of Art selected
for the year, and the chance of obtaining a prize
painting at the Annual Meeting.

The object of the institution is to give gratuitous
advice and treatment to women suffering from disease
peculiar to their sex, and in diseases of children. It
is also intended to give instruction to students on
these particular branches of medical science. The
institution is supported by voluntary contributions.
Open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 3
p.m., for diseases of women, and on Tuesdays and
Thursdays, at 3 p.m., for diseases of children.
