At Glasgow, 13th Dec, 1825.
The Magistrates and Council of Glasgow, and other Trustees for improving the Navigation of the
River Clyde, established the following Table of Fares for Porters plying at the Harbour of the
Broomielaw : — s. d.
For carrying a letter or parcel not exceeding 7 lbs., any distance not exceeding \ of a mile, . 2
And for each additional J of a mile, ........... 1
A parcel not exceeding 56 lbs., any distance not exceeding J of a mile, . . . .03
