fPHE Company has been formed to take over the whole Assets and Liabilities of the Glasgow
X AND Suburban Dwellings Co., Limited. Full powers have been taken in the Memorandum
of Association for the transaction of every branch of an investment business, viz. : — 1st. The
Receiving of Money on Deposit on such terms as may be agreed on, and paying interest thereon.
2nd. The granting of Loans on Heritable Security, repayable by Instalments, by Rent Charge,
or otherwise, as may be agreed on. 3rd. The acquiring, by Purchase, Feu, or otherwise. Herit-
able Property or any interest therein, and Re-selling, Feuing, or otherwise disposing of the same.
DEPOSITS are received of any amount for fixed periods — interest payable half-yearly — or at
call or short notice at lower rates of interest. The Rates allowed are Liberal, varying from 3 to
J;4J per cent., depending on the sum lent and the period of loan.
THE SECURITY TO THE DEPOSITORS is most ample, the whole funds being invested,
in terms of the Memorandum of Association, in first-class Heritable Property, consisting of Land,
Feu Duties, Houses, and Loans thereon, thus affording to depositors all the advantages of Heritable
Security, with the additional benefit of the security of the large subscribed and paid up capital.
