THE CA8810BURY FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
THIS simple, portable, and efficient Fire
Engine, has been specially designed for
prompt application on the outbreak of Fire. It
is intended that it should always be kept ready
charged, for moving to anj' part upon the floor
or building, where Fire may originate, and
its advantages are so palpable that they need
hardly be dilated upon. Nearly all Fires are
trifling at their commencement, and confined
to one spot, and it is to the want of some simple
means for directing a jet of water at once upon
such point, that Fire has time to extend itself,
so as to be beyond the control of the most
powerful Brigade Engines, which commonly
have to be fetched from a distance, or which,
even if at hand, take time to connect hose and
get in order for a fair start.
The great advantage of the Cassiobury Engine
is, that it can be immediately brought to bear on
any point with remarkable effect and precision,
and will deliver a good volume of water 40 feet
high, or 50 feet horizontally.
Its general usefulness for cleansing and water-
ing purposes makes it a valuable acquisition to
any establishment.

THE GUINEA FURBATOR has been devised to supply a desideratum to the million, and as a remedy

success, exceeding every expectation formed of it, being an infinite improvement over the board as a means
of knife-cleaning, and altogether an extraordinary example of utility and economy combined.
