the General Post-Office, from 8 till 9 a.m.
On Fast Days. — On being called for
at the General Post-Office, from 8 till 9
a.m., and from 4 to 5 p.m.

The hours for closing the box for each Post Town in Scotland will be found at p. 10.
A fee of 3d. each will be taken from the hour mentioned in the last column to
within five minutes of the despatch of each of the mails.
The fee on late letters must be paid by stamps, and such letters deposited in the
Late Letter-Box.
