LIFE INSURANCE.
I^HE RATES of this Company are generally lower than those of most
other Offices. For the same Premium which a person aged 20 would have to
pay to the Chief Mutual Offices in Scotland for an Assurance of £1,000, he may obtain
a Policy from i/ze National for £1,288. 17s.; or one for £1,177. 14s., with a Right to
Share in the Profits.
The affairs of this Company have, in terms of its Constitution, been subjected to two
successive Investigations ; and out of the Surplus which, after a rigid valuation of the
Assets and Liabilities, has each time been found to have arisen, large Bondses have
been allocated to the Policy-Holders. These results have led to a great
extension of the Business.
Any Bonus may be converted into a present Cash Payment. A liberal value will be
given.
An INVESTIGATION and DIVISION of PROFITS will take place ANNUALLY
in future, and every Participating Policy in existence at 15th May, in each year, will
share in the Division.
On application, Policies may be admitted to very important privileges, whereby, after
the lapse of a certain period, they shall be absolutely indefeasible, and not liable to extra
premiums for residence in any part of the world.
Attention is specially directed to the Company's NON-PARTICIPATION SCHEME,
by which fixed sums without additions may be secured at very moderate rates.
FIRE INSURANCE.
Policies may be transferred to this Company without expense.
This Company insures all the ordinary classes of Buildings and Goods, and also First-
Class Warehouses, Power-Loom Factories, Woollen Mills, &c.
