minutes before the Box closes for Letters.
LATE LETTERS.— Letters may be posted at G.P.O.
and Branch Office, Leith, from 5 to 10 minutes
after the hour of closing the Box, except for
the London Mails, when they are taken at
G.P.O. till 20 minutes, and Leith and Lyue-
doch Place Branch Offices till 30 minutes ;

and 8.45 p.m., and 8.15 p.m. for North and
West Mails, — on being prepaid the too-late
fee of |d. for Inland Letters, etc., and Id. for
Foreign and Colonial, and handed over the
counter. Further, Letters may be posted for
the 5.30 p.m. London Mail, at the Princes St.
Station till 6.10 p.m. ; and at Wii^irerley Sta-
tion, in the Box attached to the P.O. Carriage,
by the 4.20 a.m., 2.0, and 6 30 p.m. Mail
Trains. Kegistered Letters received up to
the hour of closing the Box for ordinary!
Letters — too-late fee, 4d.
Paid Letter Office and Parcels Office open from
7 a.m. till 9 p.m. Private Box and Strangers'
Letters and Parcels delivered from the In-
spector's Office. Annual Fee for Private Box,
£3; if a locked Bag is used, £1 additional.
