This Company is composed of a numerous and influential body of Proprietors, and has a large subscribed
capital, so that unquestionable security is guaranteed to Insurers.

AMOUNT OF INSURANCES in force, upwards of 4,000,000
PROGRESS OF THE COMPANY.
During the Quinquennial Period, from 1st August, 1861, to 1st August, 1866, the total amount of New
Life Assurances effected was £2,287,532, being an average Annual amount of £457,500.
The New Life Business effected during the year ending lat August, 1868, amounted to £478,347.
DISTRIBUTION OF PROFITS.
Five-sixths of the Profit arising from the whole Life Business are divided every Five Years among
Participating Policy-holders in the proportion each has contributed to the fund.
All Policies taken out on the Participating Scheme before 31st July, 1869, will rank for three full years at
next Investigation in 1871.
Copies of Prospectus, and all other information, may be obtained at the Offices of the Company,
or at any of the Agencies throughout the Kingdom.
