adopted by the Subscriber to distinguish his New
Business from that of the " Scottish Cutlery House,"
which was founded by him, and for many years known as
"Hilliard's." The " Scottish Cutlery House," though
still erroneously supposed by many to be" Hilliard's,"
he has entirely ceased to have any connection with ;
and with no invidious motive, but simply to prevent
misunderstanding and mistakes, he begs to apprise the
Public that his only Establishment now is
