The Members of which incur no liability, while they obtain the Whole Benefit c
their contributions. The sums assured being guaranteed, and the business conducte
by the Company for a charge of 10 per Cent, upon the Premiums without any de
duction whatever.
The Assured have the power, under the Act of Incorporation, to elect three c
their number as Directors for the Management and Investment of their own funds.
The Bonus declared in 1846 (when the Institution completed its tenth year) wa
equivalent to from 35 to 54 per Cent, on the Premiums paid by middle-aged lives
2nd.— A PROPRIETOR'S BRANCH,
By which Assurances may be effected for fixed sums upon terms which will bea
comparison with those of any Office of Stability in the Kingdom.
Moderate Extra Rates for Foreign Residence.
