PBOGKESSIVE LIFE ASSI3EANCE.
Rates by Annual Paynaenls progressively increasing during life, for an
assurance of £100 payable at the death of the party ; also, Rates by
' Equal Annual Payments during life, by paying which, at any age, the
assured are entitled to have their Progressive Life Policies converted
into Policies on the ordinary system of assurance.

Note 1. — At age 70 the progressive scale ceases, and an equal annual premium of £10 9s 6d per
cent, becomes payable for the remainder of life.
'jfioTZ 2. As explained above, and more fully in the general Prospectus of the Company, the assured
under the Progressive system are entitled at any time to get any proportion of the sums assured by
their policies cancelled, paying afterwards only the premiums applicable to the remainder for which
they continue to be assured. The importance of this arrangement to persons effecting Assurances
IN CONNECTION WITH LOANS OR DEBTS ; tO the PRUDENT AND SAVING OF THE COMMUNITY, whO, by
laying aside the profits realized by themselves, may thus gradually render themselves independent of
the occasion for life assurance, and, tn general, to all classes, cannot be overestimated.
EXAMPLE.
Age 30.
Ist, £100, or any larger sum, may be assured, payable at the death of a person of
this age, by the payment of
£1 4s 4d per cent, for the first year's assurance;
£1 4s lOd per cent, for the second year's assurance ;
and so on according to the scale, the premium progressively increasing until the age
of 70 be reached, when an equal annual premium of £10 9s 6d per cent, becomes
payable for the leinainder of life.
2d, A progressive life policy previously effected on the life of a person of this age,
may be converted into a policy on the ordinary system of life assurance by the as.
surcd paying, an equal annual premium of £2 2s 8d per cent, for the remainder of
life.
