Regulations respecting the Admission of Patients.
1st. That no Patient shall be admitted into the Infirmary witlioat
examination by the Medical Attendants, to ascertain that the case is a
proper one for admission into the House.
2d. That all Contributors of £10 or more, and all Annual Subscribers
of £1 Is. or move, shall be entitled to recommend one patient annually
ior every £10 of contribution, and one for every Guinea of Annual
Subscription.
3d. That Incorporations and Societies, from Vf-hich regular and per-
petual recommendations may be expected, and who have contributed
X50 to the Institution, or subscribed £3 3s. annually, shall be entitled to
send two patients annually to the House, and one patient more for every
£25 of additional contribution, or £1 lis. 6c/. of Annual Subscription.
4th. That Contributors shall not be qualified to recommend till they
have paid their contribution, nor Annual Subscribers till they have paid
their annual subscriptions.
5th. That persons meeting with accidents, shall, if immediate appli-
cation is made, be admitted without any Subscriber's recommendation.
6th. That Subscribers, or Contributors, recommending. patients, shall
be bound to pay tlie expense of burial, in case of death, and also to
remove the patients from the lulirmary, when it is not proper that they
should continue in it any longer.
7th. That a Book shall be kept, in which shall be enrolled the names
of the patients and of the Subscribers by whom they are recommended,
the dates of their admission, and other particulars which the observance
of the above rules may require.
