49 Infirmaries.
5th, That persons, meeting with accidents, shall, if immediate applica-
tion is made, be admitted without any Subscriber's recommendation.
6th, That Subscribers, or Contributors, recommending patients, shall
be bound to pay the expense of burial in case of death, and also to remove
the patients from the Infirmary, when it is not proper that they should
continue in it any longer.
7th, That a book shall be kept, in which shall be enrolled the names
of the patients and of the Subscribers by whom they are recommended ;
the dates of their admission, and other particulars, which the observance
of the above rules may require.

Bearer, if found a proper Patient, and I will be subject to the Regula-
tions of the House,
I am, &c.
*,* The Regulations of the house are, "to remove the patient if in-
curable, or pay the funeral expenses, if the patient die." The expenses,
generally do not exceed 10s. 6d.

Patients for advice are required to present themselves at the Infirmary,
No. 14, College Street, at one o'clock, afternoon, having previously fur-
nished themselves with a recommendatiou from a Magistrate, the Minis-
ter of their Parish, the Elder of their proportion, or a Contributor to the
Infirmary. In cases of recent injury, no recommendation is required.
"The Elders are requested to use the following form of recommendation :
/ hereby recommend to the Glasgow Eye Infirmary — — ^- — ,
residing at No. — , Street, in my proportion of Parish,

Cow-PocK Inoculation every Tuesday, at half-past twelve o'clock
