Ireland, and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas, King, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of
India, born 9th Nov. 1841 ; married, 10th March 1863, Princess Alexandra Caroline Mart
Charlotte Louisa Julia (born 1st Dec. 1844), eldest daughter of the late Christian ix. of Denmark ;
succeeded to the throne, 22nd Jan. 1901, on the death of his mother. Queen Victoria.
