The Wiriter Session opens, in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Divinity, and Medicine, on 13th October,
in the Faculty of Music on 12th October, in the Faculty of Law on loth October, and closes in the end
of March ; the Summer Session (1904) opens on 2nd May, and closes in the middle of July. The General
Council holds statutory meetings on the first Wednesday in May, and on the last Friday in
October. These meetings may be adjourned, and special meetings may also be held. The number of
Matriculated Students for Academic Tear 1901-1902 was 2920 ; and the number of Members of General
Council on the Register for 1903 is 9243. The number of degrees conferred in the year from 1st
May 1902 to 1st May 1903, after examination, was 471, — viz., in Arts, 153 (M.A., 161; D.Litt., 2):
