(a) denotes that an additional charge is made on delivery ; (c) that prepayment is compulsory ; (h) that the
Registration is incomplete, to Port of Arrival only.
A packet of Newspapers, Printed Matter, or Commercial Papers, addressed to the British Colonies or
Possessions or to non-Union Countries or Colonies, must not exceed 24 X 12 x 12 inches, but to Foreign Countries
in the Postal Union the size is limited to 18 X 12 X 12 inches. If in the form of a roll the limits of size in either
ease are 30 X 4 inches. The limits of weight are 4 lb. for Foreign Countries in the Postal Union, and 5 lb. for
British Colonies or Possessions and for non-Union Countries or Colonies.
The limit of weight for Patterns or Samples for British Colonies or Possessions or for non-Union Countries
is 5 lb., but for the Argentine Bepublic, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Congo Free State, Costa Rica,
Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Greece, Guatemala, Hawaii, Holland, Honduras Republic,
Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liberia, Luxemburg, Mexico, Persia, Peru, Portugal, Roumania, Salvador, Servia, Siam,
Spain, Switzerland, Tunis, United States, and Venezuela, the limit is 12 ounces, and for other Countries of the
