HIS Company transacts the following business :-
1. Approved Coupons and 5/20 called Bonds purchased at current rates.
2. Bonds of the older and dividend-paying Railroads secured by mortgage, are kept
on hand for sale at market prices, which may be learned on application at the Office.
3. The Company undertakes the purchase or sale in America of all kinds of Stocks or
Securities.
The Company act as Agents in Edinburgh for the sale of the Bonds of the Equitable
Trust Company of New London, Connecticut. These Bonds are secured by ^lortgage over
real estate, and the guarantee of the Equitable Trust Company. They are for five years,
and have coupons attached for payment of interest at 7 per cent.
They also act as Agents for the sale of Debentures of various Companies in the Province
of Ontario, Canada, which having a capital subscribed locally, lend money on security of
real estate, and have a borrowing power, limited by Act of the Legislature of Ontario.
Money intended for the Company may be paid to any Branch of the Royal Bank of
Scotland, the British Linen Company, or the National Bank of Scotland, for the credit of
the account in Edinburgh.
