PROMINENT FEATURES.
I, The Eates of this Society are the same as charged by other Offices, whilst Two-Fifths of
the Profits are returned to the Insured every Three or Five Years. In proof of the
public confidence in the principles and conduct of this Establishment, it will suffice to
state that the total Business now exceeds £110,000,000.
II. Moderate Premiums. — The Eates of Premium being in no case higher than those charged
by other principal Companies making no return of Profits, the advantage secured by
the Insured in this Office is obvious.
III. Claims settled with Promptitude and Liberality. — Losses arising from Lightning, or by
Explosion from Gas, made good.
IV. Special Kisks. — Specifications for Insurances on Breweries, Distilleries, Foundries,
and Manufactories prepared by the Society's Surveyor when required, free of expense,
and tlie Rates of Premium carefully adjusted according to the merits of the Risk.
BONUS YEAR, 1873-74.
The Bonus allotted this year to Participating Policy-holders amounted to £57,428, which was
equal to a Dividend of upwards of 40 per cent, of the Premium in the case of Policies of several
years' standing.

BONUS.
All Persons insured with the Association against Personal Accident for five consecutive
years, without change, allowed, on paying future Annual Premiums, A Reduction of Ten
PER CENT, on amount thereof, so long as profits of Association admit of such abatement;
