A. MCDONALD,
GENTLEMEN'S AND BOYS'
40 SOUTH BRIDGE, EDINBURGH.
.^1 A.M^DONALD ^27 HUNTER &M^DONALD
MR MCDONALD begs to express his most grateful thanks to the numerous
Patrons and Friends who have given him their support since he opened
the above Premises. He may mention that the support has far exceeded his
expectations.
With a determination to make every possible exertion that attention to
orders, large practical experience, commodious premises, and abundance of capital
may enable him to accomplish, and to insure a continuance of that patronage
acquired, as also to obtain increasing favour with the public, he has resolved that
every real improvement invented, applicable to the Trade, shall be introduced.
The Cutting Departments have been entirely re-modelled, whereby
orders can be executed with regularity and despatch, and with a precision
hither unattainable.
The Cloths, Tweeds, &C., are all bought personally by Mr M^Donalu.
His experience, which is necessarily large and matured from the opportunities
he has possessed during the last twenty-five years in the South Bridge, enables
him to apply a skill in selection few have had the opportunity of acquiring.
