The Company receives Money on Deposit at fair Rates of Interest, and lends Money on
Heritable Security.
I. Deposit Department.
The Funds of the Company are invested solely on Heritable Securities, and the
Company's Subscribed Capital (£96,000, of which £9600 has been paid up) furnishes an
ample additional guarantee to Depositors.
Interest is at present allowed on Deposit Receipts for fixed periods at 4, 4^, and 4J
per cent., and on the Minimum Monthly Balances of Current Deposit Accounts at 3 per
cent. Public attention is directed to the latter feature of the Company's Business. Pass-
Books and Cheques are provided, as in any of the Chartered Banks.
II. LOAN Department.
The Company grants Adv^vnces to parties requiring accommodation in connection with
the Erection, Pm-chase, or Improvement of Dvvelling-Houses or Shops, or for the purpose of
paying off Bonds thereon.
The Instalments by which Loans are repayable are moderate, and the other arrange-
ments with Borrowers equitable.
Borrowers do not require to become Members of the Company, and the Loans cannot
be disturbed while the Instalments are regularly paid.
NO COMMISSION, FINES, OR PENAL INTEREST CHARGED.
Prospectuses, Forms of Application for Loans, and all needful Information may he ob-
tained at the Company's Office.
