'TlHE following are among the advantages which this Company offers to the Public :—
\st. Very low even rates of Premium, payable annually, half-yearly, or quarterly.
Id, The facilities afforded to all classes of insurers, by having it in their power to adopt
either an even rate for life, an ascending scale, or a descending scale, as may suit the conve-
nience of parties ; or further, an alternative plan, by which one-third of the even rate of
premium (on policies for the whole of life) may remain unpaid, and be deducted from the
sum insured at the end of life, with interest at the rate of four per cent.
Mhj, The adaptation of the Tables to any service, or to any country in the world ; and it
will be found that in Foreign Insurances also, the extra rates charged are considerably lower
than those of other offices.
Uhly, The Insurance of persons of advanced age, and also the undertaking^ of risks that
might be rejected by other offices, at moderate ratesj deduced from very extensive and accu-

5thly, The great facility afforded for the transfer of policies, the Directors,^ instead of
requiring assignments of these to be executed, in every case issuing^ new policy in name of
the intended assignee, on surrendering the former, and merely paying the pric6 of the new
stamp.
