WAS Established at Glasgow in 1826, aad is incorporated by Special Act of Parliament. The
Society's Income now exceeds £335,000 a year. The In\t;sted Funds amouot to over
£2,800,000, and the Existing Assurances to over £8,000,000. The Sum paid in Claims to the
Kepresentatives of Deceased Members is upwards of £3,800,000.
