THE Association, founded in 1838, is one of the largest Life Offices, and
the Policy-holders enjoy important Privileges and Benefits. The
Rates of Premium are not higher than usual, and the Systems of
Distributing Profits are Specially attractive and beneficial to healthy
persons likely to ,live to at least an average age, thus : —
ORDINARY LIFE POLICIES
in Class A3 are transformed by the application of Profits, after compara-
tively few years, into Free Paid-up Policies for the full Sums Assured,
with future Bonus Additions, requiring no payments or care to keep them
in force.
INVESTMENT LIFE POLICIES
in Class B combine all the advantages of an Ordinary Life Assurance
with a most Profitable Investment. The Bonuses are reserved and
accumulated for the exclusive benefit of those Assured who attain an average

There are also Very Low Premiums (Class Bg) for those who prefer the
Smallest Present Outlay. The Policies are payable in full, as usual,
and also participate in Profits on a system similar to that of Class B ; but the
Premiums being very low, the Bonuses are necessarily smaller than in that Class.
In Classes B and Bg, there are no restrictions as to Foreign Residence
or Travelling ; but persons likely to incur much extra hazard are not admitted
into these. In Class A3, a large portion of the World is free from the
?first, and if no extra charge be incurred during the first Five Years, all restric-
tion is then removed.
