Mailsare made up at the General Post Office, London, as follows: —
For France, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday —
Spain, every second Tuesday — Holland, Netherlands, Germany,
and North of Europe, every Tuesdayand Friday — Sweden, every
Friday — Jamaica and America, first Wednesday monthly — Lee-
ward Islands and Demerara, first and third Wednesday, monthly
— Madeira and Brazils, first Tuesday monthly — Buenos Ayres,
third Tuesday monthly Lisbon, every Tuesday Gibraltar,
Malta, Corfu and Mediterranean, first Tuesday monthly.
To his Majesty's Colonies or other Foreign Parts, where rates of
postage have not hitherto been authorised, a rate of postage shall
he charged in equal proportions to the rates of packet postage, or
the conveyance of letters and packets to or from Buenos Ayres,
or any port on the Continent of South America.
N. B. The return of the Packets are calculated thus: — To Jamaica
and back, 16 weeks, — America, 15; — Leeward Islands, 13; —
Malta, 14; Lisbon, 4; and the Brazils 20 weeks. — The
American Packets sail for New York direct, in November, De-
cember, January and February; the other eight months they go
and return by the way of Halifax. — From July to December, in-
clusive, the Packet to Rio Janeiro touches at Pernambucco and
Eahia on her outward passage, and the other six months on her
homeward. — The Packet stations are Dover, Harwich, Wey-
mouth, and Falmouth.

To America, and "West Indies, 2/5f; Madeira, 2/1 Oj ; Gibraltar.
3/l-§; Malta, Majorca, Sicily and the Mediterranean, 5j5%;
South America, Portugal, 2/9-|; France, 2/2| ; Holland, 2/4^ ;
Hamburgh, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Prussia,
Russia, &c. 2/8^; Italy, by Germany, 2/S-§; by France, 2/1 li;
Spain, by France, 3/2|. — Ship Letters charged at half the rate
of Packet Postage.
Ship Letters are forwarded through the London Post Office, to the
Cape of Good Hope, Isle of France, Bombay, Ceylon, Madras,
Bengal, Bencoolen, Prince of Wales Island, on paying the inland
postage to the port where the ship may be, and Twopence sea
postage additional, for every letter under three ounces weight,
and One Shilling per ounce, for every ounce above that weight.
But Ship Lettersy>o»2 the Cape of Good Hope, and places be-
fore-mentioned, are liable to the full inland rates, and a sea post-
age of Fourpence for every letter under three ounces weight, and
■ One Shilling per ounce, for every ounce above that weight.
All letters from other places abroad are liable to a sea postage of
Eightpence single, and One Shilling and Fourpence for double
letters, and so on, over and above all inland rates whatever.
Newspapers and Prices Current that have paid stamp duty, if
made up open at the ends, are forwarded through the Post
Office, at One Penny per ounce. But Letters, Newspapers,
Prices Current, &c. to the Coast of Africa, St. Helena, Ba-
tavia, New South Wales, Surinam, Havanna, Hayti, Honduras,
and all places where there are no packets, are charged one-half
of the highest rate of postage. — Seamen and Soldiers can send
