THE POLICIES are INDISPUTABLE, in terms of the Deed of Settlement of the Company,
duly Registered, and are thus rendered CERTAIN FAMILY PROVISIONS and NEGO-
TIABLE DOCUMENTS of SECURITY.
This Company has introduced, as more peculiarly applicable to the Middle and Industrious
Classes, a plan of SELF-PROTECTING INSURANCE, whereby in one Policy for one rate ot
Premium, are combined an Insurance of, a Sum payable either at Death, or on attaining a speci-
fied age, and a pension or annuity after that age; and giving the full benefit of all Premiums that
have been paid, although the payments should at any time be discontinued.

THE BANK is Open every Day, except Saturday, from 12 till 3; and on Saturday from 10
till 12 ; also in the Evenings of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 7 till 9.
Honey is not Paid out in the Evenings.
Sums may be Lodged as low as One Shilling at a time, and to the extent of £30 in one year,
ending the 20th of November, and of £150 in all, which may accumulate at Compound Interest
till it^reaches L.209.
Certified Friendly Societies may lodge their funds to any amount, and the deposits of other
Societies and Charitable Institutions are limited to L.100 in one year, and L.300 altogether.
The Rate of Interest at present allowed is nearly 3 per cent (L.2, 17s. 94d.), added to the
principal each year at the 20th of November.
Government Annuities from L.4 to L.30 a-year, are contracted for through this Bank on
veryTfavourable terms. Tables of Prices, and other particulars, may be had on application.
The Funds of Savings Banks are required by Statute to be invested with the Commissioners
for the Reduction of the National Debt, in the Bank of England.
