DEBENTURES for £50 and upwards are issued by the Company for periods of Three,
Five, and Seven years, free of expense to the Lender, bearing Interest at the rate of —
4 p. c. per annum for 3 years, i^ p. c. for 5 years, and 4^ p. c. for 7 years.
Interest is payable at the Company's Bankers half-yearly, on 1st January and 1st July, or,
to suit the convenience of Scotch Investors, at Whitsunday and Martinmas, by Coupons
attached to the Bonds, and commences from the day on which the Principal is received by
the Agents. By the Articles of Association, the Company's borrowing powers, on Deben-
tures, are limited to the amount for the time of the unpaid portion of the Subscribed
Capital.
Copies of the last Report and Balance-sheet and Forms of Application for Debentures
may be had from, and the Articles of Association and List of Shareholders will be exhibited
