Insurance Record, April 9, 1869. — ' As a General Life Assurance Office, the Prudential has a large
business, and holds a high place amongst kindred institutions ; and as an Industrial Office, it stands
unrivalled.' Glasgow Herald, April 8, 1869. — ' We publish in our advertising columns the Report of the
Directors of this Company for the past year, which shows very great progress. It would appear that
a considerable portion of the increase in the business of the Company has been in Scotland, the amount
of New Premium Income derived from this side of the Tweed being upwards of £13,000.' Daily Mail,
April 8, 1869. — ' Our readers will have observed that the Prudential Assubancb Company has en-
grafted on to its former business the admirable system of "Absolute Security Policies, Unforfeitable,
Unconditional, and Unchallengeable ; ' and as these cannot fail to be appreciated by the insuring public,
we shall be surprised if next yeai-'s Eeport has not to tell a tale of still increased prosperity.'
