REGULATIONS.
A Constable with six Officers attend in rotation at the Police
Office, Albion-street, to call the roll of the Watchmen, half an hour
before they take their stations, and mark such as are absent. The
Officers and twenty Patrolemen, thereafter patrole the streets
until between two and three in the morning, or longer if ne-
cessary, to observe if the Watchmen are doing their duty; to
apprehend vagrants and disorderly persons; and to give, in writ-
ing, a report of the whole transactions, in the morning, to the
Master of Police.
The Watchmen are to be on their respective Stations, in the
months of April to September inclusive, at 10 o'clock at night, and
continue till 5 in the morning; and in the months of October to
March inclusive, at 9 o'clock at night, and continue until 6 in the
morning. "*
iV. B. — The Fire Engines are under the management of the Com-
missroners of Police. Keys for them to be found in Police Office.
In cases of fire, it may be of use for the Public to know where
the Engines are stationed, also the name and residence of the Mas-
ter Firemen, which are as under.
